Halestorm bringing hard rock to the 2023 Wisconsin State Fair

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Halestorm, a Grammy-winning rock band, is scheduled to perform at the Wisconsin State Fair Main Stage, presented by Potawatomi Casino Hotel, on Friday, Aug. 4 at 7:30 p.m.

Halestorm's fifth full-length album, Back From The Dead, includes their hit single "Love Bites (So Do I)," which won a Grammy award for Best Hard Rock/Metal Performance. The Friday, Feb. 24 press release announcing the tour also notes that Halestorm is the first female-fronted band to achieve a top-charting spot on the Active Rock radio charts.

The show is also set to feature some of the band's other popular songs, including "Uncomfortable" and "Apocalyptic."

New Years Day will open the concert, and the band has set out to write the "poppiest metal album," with singles such as "Shut Up" and "Come For Me" that have charted on Billboard's Mainstream Rock chart.

Tickets for the show will be available on Friday, March 3 at 10 a.m. at WiStateFair.com. Each ticket includes admission to the 2023 Wisconsin State Fair for the day of the show when purchased before entering the Fair Park.

All seating for this show is reserved, with tickets costing $45, $50, and $55.
