GREENFIELD, Wis. (CBS 58) – Greenfield Police say a 17-year-old West Milwaukee girl and her 17-year-old boyfriend of Greenfield stole a live lobster from Red Lobster.
The incident happened on September 25. An employee at the location called police.
The teens then posted about the incident on Facebook. The teens were cited.
In a 911 call the manager talks about becoming a mini-detective on social media to fish out the suspects.
"We want report that they stole. They posted it on facebook and are sharing it," the manager is heard telling dispatch.
Police do not know what happened to the lobster.
Attempts by CBS 58 to message the couple via facebook for their comments have, so far, been unsuccessful.
One thing seems clear, you post a lobster theft on Facebook, chances are you're going to get pinched.
