Greenfield officer hurt in squad rollover back at work, dash cam video of chase released

GREENFIELD, Wis. (CBS 58) -- A Greenfield Police officer who was hurt in a squad rollover accident is back on the job.
On the morning of Sunday, August 12, Greenfield Police spotted a reckless driver and a tried to stop him. The driver took off and several squads joined the chase. As the vehicles near Zablocki Park on Loomis Road, the closest squad tries to stop the driver using a PIT maneuver, but the contact caused the squad to roll over.
Dash cam video shows other officers pulling the officer hurt in the accident out.
The driver who was being chased left the scene but was arrested later in the day.
Jorge Ornelas, 26, is charged with first-degree recklessly endangering safety and eluding an officer resulting in injury. If convicted, he could wind up in prison.
