GREENFIELD, Wis. (CBS 58) – Students at Greenfield High School are showing their support for the Stoneman Douglas High School shooting survivors.
The Wisconsin high schoolers created a banner filled with messages of love and hope to send to Parkland, Florida. The idea for the banner came from a group of art students who wanted to do something special for the Florida high schoolers.
The banner will be hung at Stoneman Douglas High School along with many others from across the country.
“I want all of the Florida kids to know that we’re all here for them and that the whole country is backing them on this and that they’re not alone,” Greenfield High School sophomore Jenna Feeder said.
The banner is being mailed to Florida Friday evening. It will be at the school when students return to class next week.
