GREENDALE, Wis. (CBS 58) -- The Greendale High School marching band is preparing to perform in the 2020 Rose Bowl Parade.
Tournament of Roses President Laura Farber officially welcomed the band Tuesday night and presented them with a flag.
Greendale is one of 20 marching bands invited to participate.
"All the bands that apply are typically talented, and they have great skills, but what hit us is that anybody that wants to be in this band can be in this band," said Farber. "And they do other things -- athletes, performers, you name it."
The 131st Rose parade is January 1.
