Grain spills onto Interstate 94 in Milwaukee

A big time mess on I-94 Thursday that delayed thousands of motorists for hours.

Around 2:45 p.m. a tractor trailer carrying 78,000 pounds of grain rolled over near Howard Avenue and spilled its load onto the roadway.

At one point, two lanes in both directions were shut down for several hours. By 5 p.m. it was down to two southbound lanes that were closed.

At 7:40 p.m. traffic finally was moving normally again.

No word on injuries.
