BURLINGTON, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Governor Evers stopped at the public library in Burlington on Wednesday afternoon.
He read to students there and answered some of their questions.
He also talked to reporters about some of the issues waiting for him back in Madison like the State Supreme Court ruling restoring most of the laws passed during the 'lame duck' session before he took office.
"It's still, you know, it's gonna be by fall to roll this out. I was disappointed with the ruling, but not necessarily surprised," said Gov. Tony Evers.
The Governor also suggested the City of Milwaukee was getting shortchanged by some of the changes proposed by Republicans for the state budget bill.
