Glendale Police Searching for Man that Allegedly Approached 8-Year-Old

Glendale Police are looking for a man who allegedly approached an 8-year-old boy last week.

According to Glendale Police, the man was described as a Caucasian in his 20's driving an old black pickup truck with rust and a loud muffler.

The driver then tells the boy that he used to be a major league baseball player and has several baseballs in his truck signed by professional baseball players.

He asked the boy if he wanted to come to the truck to get one. The boy told police he remembered the "Charlie Check 1st" Program taught by Officer Friendly at his school and how he should not go anywhere with anyone without checking with his parents. He then ran away from the truck and got his father.
