Girl Scouts hold softball series at Miller Park's Helfaer Field

Girl Scouts hosted a softball series for over 150 girls from across the city of Milwaukee at Helfaer Field at Miller Park on July 28.
For the last three weeks, girls going into grades 4 through 6 this fall have been learning how to play softball as well as teamwork, sportswomanship and healthy living techniques.
A partnership was formed between the Girl Scouts of Wisconsin Southeast and the MPS Recreation Department.
This year the program celebrated 16 years and topping 2500 for the number of girls served from Milwaukee.
