The MVP started his party with one very specific request for the thousands of fans that came to cheer him on.
"After this day, July 14th, please, please, please do me this favor so I can be a better player and lead this team to a championship." Giannis Antetokounmpo told fans outside of Fiserv Forum. "Please don't call me MVP until I win it again next year."
Then Giannis asked the fans for two more things. First, he told them to show up to every game because the Bucks can't win a title without their support. Then he coaxed 20,000 people into taking a selfie with him and his brothers so that he can always remember this moment.
"Man we could not do it without them. We were the best team playing at home so we need their support. We need the support to be great," Giannis says.
The last thing Giannis told fans is "now let's go win the big trophy."
