MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Summerfest begins just two weeks from Thursday.
Saturday, May 30, people had a change to get a taste of the Big Gig - literally.
The Metro Market on 76th Street in Greenfield people displayed samples of some of the new Summerfest concession items this year.
The samples at "SummerFeast" included Smoked Beef Barbacoa over Dirty Rice from Famous Dave's, a walking taco from MONTACOS, and the Elote Dog from Wild Dog.
A live DJ was there to play some hits and anyone who spent more than $25 at the store, got a free ticket to Summerfest.
"It's jammin. People love coming out being able to experience. So, we appreciate when we and Metro Market are able to throw these kinds of events and host the community in a really fun new and engaging way," Emilie Williamson, head of public affairs of Pick n' Save and Metro Market, said.
There were also samples from other Summerfest vendors.
This is the second year of SummerFeast.
