MADISON, Wis. (CBS 58) -- The next player is tight end JT Seagreaves out of Monroe, Wisconsin.

The Badgers are without Jake Ferguson, as he departed for the NFL. They do still have Hayden Ruuci and players like Seagreaves will be key for the Badgers' tight end room.

Player Summary:

Seagreaves is an intriguing player. He is a multi-sport athlete, competing in basketball, football and track.

He also participated in spring practices and has been with the team since January. As mentioned above, he gained plenty of recognition as a defensive end in high school. Seagreaves comes to the Badgers as a tight end.

During his high school career, Seagraves had 42 catches for 967 yards and six touchdowns. Even though tight end wasn't his primary position in high school, the potential is certainly there for Seagreaves.

As a tight end, Seagreaves has impressive hands and his production in high school has shown that he can have a productive collegiate career as a tight end.

With the loss of Jake Ferguson this season, the Badgers will now have to lean on other players for their future. Their tight end room screams potential, and Seagreaves is one of those players in there.
