Germantown's Kennedy Middle School Closed Due to Fire

Germantown's Kennedy Middle School was closed on Monday due to an electrical fire, according to a Germantown Police Department's Facebook Page. 

Superintendent Jeff Holmes emailed parents regarding the early dismissal.


The electrical fire was in the tech ed area on the gold side of Kennedy Middle School.

The fire chief recommended as a precautionary measure the closing  to allow ample time for cleaning and clearing of smoke.

KMS students were dismissed beginning at 10:45 am.
