Germantown Police Working with Retailers to Prevent Halloween Pranks

Germantown Police are working local retailers like Pick n’ Save to prevent young people from buying things like eggs, toilet paper and other items around Halloween or the end of the school year.

Germantown Police said it helps to be alerted before something happens.

"They'll buy large amounts of eggs or large amounts of toilet paper to do toilet papering. We have a good relationship with our retailers and they basically will know if they see juveniles coming in and they're buying a large quantity of eggs obviously there is probably another purpose for that," said Officer Ray Borden, Germantown Police.
