Genoa City man arrested for two robberies at same liquor store in April

GENOA CITY, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Genoa City Police are investigating two robberies at a liquor store in less than a month. The second robbery at Genoa City Liquors happened Saturday, April 28 just before noon.

A clerk called 911 describing the suspect to police as a black man wearing a red shirt and blue jeans. The suspect implied he had a gun but it was never shown.

Police identified the suspect as Genoa City resident Gregory Agnew and searched his house on April 29. Agnew was arrested with pending charged of robbery, armed robbery, child neglect and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Agnew has also been charged with the robbery that happened at the liquor store on April 13.
