Gas leak near Marquette campus leads to evacuations

MILWAUKEE -- A gas leak near Marquette University has led to the evacuation for residents. We Energies and the Milwaukee Fire Department have responded to this gas leak. We're told the gas leak was reported at 8:15 a.m. in a home on the 800 block of N. 18th St.

We Energies says the gas leak began elsewhere and migrated underground to the home. There is no estimate on how long it will take to stop the gas leak.
