Garage a Loss in Racine Fire

On Friday morning at 1:39 AM, Racine County Sheriff responded to the 17100 Block of 50^th Rd, in the Town of Yorkville, for a garage fire.

Upon arrival, Deputies observed flames coming from the top of the detached garage. The homeowners had exited the residence and were not injured. The fire damaged the side of the house, causing moderate damage and the garage was a total loss.

The house next door also received moderate damage to its exterior. The homeowners next door also evacuated and were not injured.

The scene is being investigated by the Racine County Fire Investigation Task Force and no further information is available at his time.
