Funeral set for fallen St. Croix County Deputy Kaitie Leising

ST. CROIX COUNTY, Wis. (CBS 58) -- The funeral for fallen St. Croix County Deputy Kaitie Leising is set for this Friday, May 12.
Deputy Leising was shot and killed late Saturday when responding to a call about a drunk driver in a ditch.
The St. Croix County sheriff shared a few words outside the growing memorial for Officer Leising.
"But for those that continue to beat us down sometimes, this is the end result. We are imperfect humans, given imperfect situations, with the expectation of perfect outcomes," said St. Croix County Sheriff Scott Knudson.
Public visitation is set for 9 a.m. through noon at Hudson High School, followed by the funeral and law enforcement procession.
