Funeral Arrangements Set for Gregory "Ziggy" Zyszkiewicz

The funeral arrangements for the Milwaukee City Worker Gregory "Ziggy" Zyszkiewicz have been set according to his obituary. 

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 28 from 3:30 to 7:00 PM at CHRIST CHURCH U.C.C located at 915 E. Oklahoma Avenue. The Funeral Service will begin at 7:00 PM. Interment services on Wednesday, meeting at the Funeral Home at 10:30 AM to St. Adalbert Cemetery for prayers and military honors.

Police believe Ziggy's murder was related to an attempted carjacking. As of Sunday some people had been arrested in relation to the incident but no one has been charged.

The full obituary reads:

"Zyszkiewicz, Gregory G. "Ziggy" Was taken from us tragically on Wednesday, March 22, 2017, age 64 years. Survived by the love of his life and wife of 40 years, Ola (Nee Harasymiw). Loving and devoted "Superman" dad of Bryan (Amber), Heather (Mark) Sharafinski, Morgan Zyszkiewicz and his "other daughter", Nicole Bower. "Worlds Greatest Pa" of Lola, Aria, Lottie, Kennedy, Fiona and soon to be sixth grandchild. Preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Cecilia Zyszkiewicz. Fond son-in-law of Daria "Baba" and the late Konstantyn "Didi" Harasymiw. Dear brother of Tom (Sharon), Denis (Karen) and Elaine (Ed) Pagac. Wonderful brother-in-law of Jim (Susan) Harasymiw and Oksana (David) Carlson. Also survived by nieces, nephews, other family, many friends, co-workers and his "grand-dog", Milton. Greg was an employee of the City of Milwaukee for 33 years, currently as a Special Enforcement Inspector, he was a U.S. Army veteran, a past scout master and a Journal Sentinel carrier for 20 plus years. He was a perfectionist, a multi-talented handyman, an avid marathon and endurance athlete which included two summits of Pikes Peak.
