WAUWATOSA, Wis. (CBS 58) -- More flood recovery construction is coming to Wauwatosa.

Tuesday, Jan. 27, the city's Common Council approved $607,000 in funding to replace the turf at Hart Park Stadium.

Flooding in August seriously damaged the field, built next to the Menomonee River.

The park's playground, softball field and portions of the parking lot were also damaged, with some areas reopening in late August after a million-dollar donation from the TOSA Foundation.

The city of Wauwatosa estimated $9 million in flood damage to public property following August's historic flooding.
