Fun Awaits You at The Waukesha County Fair

It's not the third week of July without Wisconsin's oldest fair of its kind.  The Waukesha County Fair gets underway today.  It's the 174th anniversary for the event.  And even though there are a lot of usual standards, like the rides and food, there are some new attractions.  I got to see some of them during Wednesday's morning show, including the pig, goat, and duck races.  They don't compete all at once, but regardless, it's really something to see, especially the goats in too toos.

New to the scene is harnessed trampoline jumping for kids in addition to lumberjack competition. As we've been reporting it will be rather warm the next few days, so water bottles will be allowed onto the festival grounds.  There are misting stations as well.  Today is one dollar day for both admission and parking, and there are midway ride specials for one ticket as well.
