MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- A local restaurant is doing its part to make sure kids don't go hungry during the pandemic.
Monday through Friday, FreshFin Poké is offering free lunch to MPS students.
"For a lot of us, we're not worried about where our next meal is coming from, and a lot of us have food at home, but there's people out there going through the same thing we are and they're worried about how they're going to feed their kids," said co-owner Nate Arkush.
K-12 students can show up to the east side location at 1806 E. North Avenue between 1-3 p.m.
The food will be in a to-go bag and will include a bowl of chicken, rice, sauce and veggies.
