Free Haircuts Given to the Local Homeless

Something as simple as a haircut can do a lot for someone in need.

That's why more than ten local barbers volunteered their time at Abiding Faith Fellowship Church this afternoon to give free haircuts to the homeless.

“By putting this event all together it helps them, it uplifts them some may say it's just a haircut but I had a man today tell me he feels like a human being now so doing this it makes me feel good and has them feeling good about themselves as well,” said one volunteer.

It wasn't just free haircuts either those who attended also got a free meal and clothing.
