MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- A new coronavirus testing site opened in Milwaukee Monday, June 1. It's located on the north side in the parking lot of Custer Stadium, near Fairmount and Sheridan.
It'll offer free, walk or drive-up testing for people with and without symptoms.
Hours run 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Thursday, and from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Friday and Saturday.
"They can enter in through the entrance point on the south side of the parking lot, we'll route them through we'll get the forms filled out for them, get their verbal consent and then we'll actually get the specimen collected," said Capt. Dave Eischen, officer in charge of Custer Stadium testing site.
The other free community testing site that's been open for several weeks is on the south side at UMOS, near Rosedale and Chase.
