Frankly Speaking About Cancer: Lung Cancer

The American Lung Association in Wisconsin is hosting Frankly Speaking About Cancer: Lung Cancer – a free workshop for people affected by lung cancer (including patients, their families/caregivers, and healthcare providers).

Dr. Elizabeth Gore, Radiation Oncologist, will present the workshop on Monday, December 9 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Community Conference Center (8700 W. Watertown Plank Road, Wauwatosa).

Frankly Speaking About Cancer: Lung Cancer streamlines crucial resources available to people in treatment for lung cancer. The workshop provide information about the most current lung cancer treatments as well as strategies for symptom/side effect management and tools for survivorship. A complimentary copy of the booklet Frankly Speaking About Cancer: Lung Cancer by the Cancer Support Community will be provided.
