MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Governor Walker's job creation agency will meet Thursday afternoon in Wauwatosa. The topic of discussion will be the state’s agreement with Foxconn.
The electronics giant is looking to build a $10 billion plant in our area taking advantage of a $3 billion incentives package the state made law earlier this month.
In Milwaukee County, County Executive Chris Abele revealed Thursday morning that Foxconn is interested in taking over some vacant property near the airport. The same land once used by the 440th airlift wing at the southwestern side of the airport.
Abele said Foxconn has even considered using the space for yet another manufacturing facility - this one with easy airport access.
