Former Packer Gilbert Brown hosts free football camp
GREEN BAY, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Former Green Bay Packer Gilbert Brown is making sure kids get a chance to practice like the pros for free, like he did when he was a kid.
His free football camp wrapped up at North Division High School Thursday. After two days of football drills, Thursday's focus was playing games and having fun.
Brown says there's more to the camp than learning how to play football.
"Everyone out here is not going to be a professional," Brown said. "I usually have military guys come out -- doctors, lawyers, different professions come out to talk to the kids, because if football is your main thing and it doesn't work out, here's something to bounce back on."
This was the 14th year of Brown's football camp.
