MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) – Two former Milwaukee-area Jeopardy! guests are sharing their memories of Alex Trebek.
Wauwatosa Dr. Morgan Wilbanks appeared on the show in May 2020 and ended up taking home more than $21,000.
Wilbanks said it was a lifelong dream to appear on the show and meet Trebek.
“He’s just as kind, warm and professional as you imagine him to be,” Wilbanks said.
Milwaukee resident Nick Klotz appeared on the show in March 2020.
“I’m just grateful I got a chance to meet him,” Klotz said. “I’m just thankful I got to have the experience.”
Trebek passed away on Saturday, November 8 after battling pancreatic cancer for nearly two years. He was 80.
