Former Badgers head coach Tony Granato announces cancer diagnosis

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- A former Wisconsin Badgers Head Men's Hockey Coach and player shared some sad news on Sunday, Dec. 10.
Tony Granato said on X that he was diagnosed with a form of non-Hodgkin's lymphoma.
He will be leaving NBC Sports Chicago, the Blackhawks Broadcast, and the NHL Network for a period of time.
His treatment will start this week.
