Forgettable night in Pittsburgh: Pirates blast Brewers 15-5

PITTSBURGH - The Brewers came into Friday night with 84 wins over Pittsburgh since 2007, the most by one NL team over another in that span. The Pirates took out some frustration over that losing streak Friday night.

Andrew McCutchen had an RBI double and a home run in the early innings, and the Pirates kept piling on runs against the Brewers bullpen in a 15-5 win Friday night at PNC Park in Pittsburgh.

Kyle Lohse allowed eight runs on nine hits in only five innings of work.

Khris Davis drove in two runs for the Brewers, who lost no ground in the NL Central standing because the Cardinals lost to the Blue Jays.
