Football fans flock to Green Bay, indulge in 2025 NFL Draft Experience
GREEN BAY, Wis (CBS 58) — Thursday marks the first official day kicking off the NFL Draft.
It marks a historic moment for the NFL and the city of Green Bay.
Thousands of excited fans swarmed Lambeau Field ready to witness football's biggest events.
As fans enjoy all that the NFL Draft Experience has to offer, for a lot of people, it's about showing their team's pride.
"Honestly, just being on hallowed ground, this place is just history in the making," said Taylor Garrison, Kansas City Chiefs fan.
In a sea of mostly green and gold fans, even their pets suited up in team colors, jerseys and wild accessories to represent their team.
"Over the last three years, I've been adding the little details. I got little trinkets in here, the belts, I got the cheese head, dagger, every game I get a pin," said Dan Deiler, Captain Pack Sparrow.
Captain Pack Sparrow says half of the fun is seeing how the fans turn the draft into a runway for team pride.
"This is what makes going to a game fun. It's not the game, it's getting to be with other people," said Deiler.

The Packalorian says the players can run and tackle -- their sport is getting dressed up.
"What new thing can we do to be over the top, what team are we playing and how can we make fun of that," said Scott Monroe, The Packalorian.
He says with the draft being in his backyard, he had to go all out.
"I added the gauntlets, the shoulder pads, newer helmet. I just wanted to have something a little extra for the draft, said Monroe.
Whether you dress up or not, there's something for everyone at the NFL Draft Experience.
There are interactive games like the 40-yard dash, vertical jump, and a football clinic for young kids.
The city of Green Bay expects around 250,000 fans to come to town for the draft, where they can see NFL memorabilia like the Lombardi trophy and Super Bowl rings.
The NFL Draft Experience is free to attend and open all three days of the NFL Draft. On Thursday and Friday, it's open from 12 p.m. to 10 p.m. and 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday.
