GREEN BAY, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Lambeau Field is back open after a fire forced the stadium to be evacuated Tuesday, March 3.
Thankfully, nobody was hurt, and the sprinkler system did exactly what it was designed to do.
"When they did get inside, they did find smoke near the third locker room, so not the player or the visiting player locker room," said Lt. Shauna Walesh, Green Bay Metro Fire Department. "It's the third locker room within the structure, and there was a fire that actually, the sprinkler system had mostly extinguished."
Right now, it's not clear how much damage was done or how the fire started.
Investigators are hoping to have those answers in the next few days.
