Update: Man arrested after barricading himself in home with 3 children

FOND DU LAC, Wis. (AP) — Police say a man armed with a knife who barricaded himself in a Fond du Lac home with three children has been arrested.
Capt. Jason Laridaen says officers were called to the home about 4:15 a.m. because the 28-year-old man was "acting unusual" according to others in the house. Lariden says the man was arrested about five hours later and no one was injured.
A SWAT team was on the scene as well as a police negotiator.

FOND DU LAC, Wis. (AP) -- Police say a man armed with a knife has barricaded himself in a Fond du Lac home with three children.
Capt. Jason Laridaen says officers were called to the home about 4:15 a.m. because the 28-year-old man was "acting unusual" according to others in the house. Lariden says at this point police do not believe there have been any injuries.
A SWAT team is on the scene as well as a police negotiator.
Residents in the area have been asked to stay in their homes while the standoff continues.

People are asked to avoid the area near Johnson and Amory.

FOND DU LAC, Wis. (CBS 58) – Fond du Lac Police are asking residents near Johnson and Amory to shelter in place Tuesday morning.
Authorities say they are “attending to an incident” at a home.
Portions of Main Street and Park Avenue are being shut down.
Police are asking people to avoid the area.
