Fond du Lac Police investigating multiple reports of shots fired

FOND DU LAC, Wis. (CBS 58) -- On Monday, February 12 around 10:09 p.m. Fond du Lac Police responded to the 500 block of 4th Street for a report of gunshots.

After an investigation police believed the shots were fired from a car. Officers found shell casings in the street but did not see any suspects or suspicious cars. Witnesses said the car may have been a dark colored passenger car.

No one was reported injured in the shooting.

About 45 minutes later around 10:53 p.m. there were multiple reports of shots fired in various locations around the city. No evidence of gunshots were located at any of those locations. It is unknown if the multiple shots fired incidents are connected.
