Fond du Lac man killed in head-on collision

FOND DU LAC COUNTY, Wis. (CBS 58) -- A 53-year-old Fond du Lac man was killed in a head-on collision in the Town of Byron on Thursday.
It happened around 8:14 a.m. on STH 175, north of CTH Y.
The investigation revealed that a 53-year-old Fond du Lac man was traveling southbound on Hwy 175 when he crossed the centerline and hit a northbound truck pulling a trailer which was being driven by a 51-year-old Theresa man.
The 53-year-old Fond du Lac man was pronounced dead at the scene.
The 51-year-old Theresa man was flown to a local hospital for treatment of serious injuries.
Alcohol is not considered a factor in the crash.
