Flight for Life transports man to Froedtert after Moorland Road accident
Flight for Life transported a New Berlin man to Froedtert hospital after a car accident at the intersection of Moorland Road and Ryerson Road on September 18.
New Berlin Police and Fire Departments responded at 10:30 AM.
A 35-year-old New Berlin man was northbound on Moorland Road, stopped at the red light at Ryerson Road. A 27-year-old Oconomowoc man was also northbound on Moorland, failed to stop, and struck the rear of the New Berlin man’s vehicle.
The 35-year-old was transported to Froedtert Hospital by the Flight for Life helicopter. We have no information on his condition at this time. The 27-year-old man suffered minor injuries and was not transported to the hospital.
The accident is still under investigation.
Preliminary indications are that alcohol is not a factor in this accident.
