Flight for Life transported a New Berlin man to Froedtert hospital after a car accident at the intersection of Moorland Road and Ryerson Road on September 18.

New Berlin Police and Fire Departments responded at 10:30 AM.

A 35-year-old New Berlin man was northbound on Moorland Road, stopped at the red light at Ryerson Road.  A 27-year-old Oconomowoc man was also northbound on Moorland, failed to stop, and struck the rear of the New Berlin man’s vehicle.

The 35-year-old was transported to Froedtert Hospital by the Flight for Life helicopter.  We have no information on his condition at this time.  The 27-year-old man suffered minor injuries and was not transported to the hospital.

The accident is still under investigation.

Preliminary indications are that alcohol is not a factor in this accident.
