UPDATE: Passenger in Dodge County crash dies at Froedtert Hospital

JEFFERSON COUNTY, Wis. (CBS 58) -- The Dodge County Sheriff's Office says the passenger in the car that suffered serious injuries died at Froedtert Hospital on March 2.

JEFFERSON COUNTY, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Several people were injured following a two-vehicle crash in Dodge County. 

It happened around 9:47 a.m. on February 28 on Hwy 60 near Jefferson Road in the Township of Rubicon.

The investigation revealed that a car was traveling east on Hwy 60 when it began a counterclockwise spin, traveling over the center roadway line, and into the westbound traffic lane.

A pickup truck which was traveling west on Hwy 60 collided with the car in the westbound traffic lane.

The driver of the pickup truck suffered minor injuries and was taken to a hospital in Hartford.

The driver of the car suffered serious injuries and was taken to a hospital in Summit.

The passenger of the car suffered life-threatening injuries and was flown from the scene to a hospital in Milwaukee. 

The crash remains under investigation by the Dodge County Sheriff's Office.
