Five School Officials Resign for Wisconsin School District

MERRILL, Wis. (WSAW) -- A Merrill High School teacher is one of the latest staff members to resign. Ross Reincke also acted as the girls' basketball coach and taught high school government.

In an email, school board president Jen Seliger stated Reincke resigned and his resignation was approved by the board at the May 18, 2016 Regular Board Meeting.

Reincke told NewsChannel 7 by phone Thursday his resignation was for personal reasons and he is moving on.

Reincke's resignation follows that of superintendent Wally Liepart, assistant superintendent Michele Jahnke, school board vice President Jeff Hetfeld, and boys' varsity basketball coach Kurt Soderberg.
