Five Rabbits Seized from Saukville Will Be up for Adoption Tomorrow
Ozaukee County - Five of the rabbits from the seizure in the town of Saukville will be available for adoption starting Thursday, January 7th.
The rabbits were seized on December 30th after being housed in deplorable conditions. The Ozaukee branch of the Wisconsin Humane Society removed all 29 rabbits. They have been examined by a veterinarian and some are ready for their furrever home.
Oreo and Cookie will be available at the Milwaukee Humane Society Campus. Loose, Emo, and Niles will be available at the Ozaukee Campus. A full list of the available rabbits can be found on the Wisconsin Humane Society’s website. The adoption fees for the rabbits from this case are entirely waved. Adopters are encouraged to name their own fee, however, which will then be put towards other animals in need.
