Fireworks set to return to Milwaukee's lakefront July 3 ✨

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Milwaukee's annual fireworks display will return to the city's lakefront July 3.

The 30-minute event will kick off around 9:30 p.m., with the "best viewing locations" near Veterans Park.

"We are excited to see the fireworks bring the community into parks again this year. We hope this opportunity inspires residents to visit their parks and enjoy year-round events and programming," said Rebecca Stoner, executive director of Milwaukee Parks Foundation.

Parking operations will begin at 6 a.m. and be cash only. All lots can be accessed from Lincoln Memorial Drive and are first come, first served. No overnight parking is allowed.

Those interested in vending food at the event are asked to contact the special events team at [email protected].

Milwaukee County Parks are also requesting volunteers to help clean up the lakefront before and after the fireworks display. For more information, click here
