Firefighters battle multiple alarm blaze at Elkhorn restuarant

WALWORTH COUNTY -- Multiple agencies are responding to a fire at Abell's Restaurant and Bar just north of Elkhorn.

Witnesses on scene tell CBS 58 that they noticed the fire just before 5 a.m. September 5 at the family-owned restaurant. 

The fire was at a third alarm at 5:15 a.m. Additional units were called in and the fire was reported to be at a sixth alarm just after 5:30 a.m.

There's no word on injuries or what caused the fire. 

US 12 has reopened in both directions at County ES after being closed for several hours as firefighters worked to put out the blaze.
