Firefighters battle fire at Voss Trenching in Washington County

WASHINGTON COUNTY, Wis. (CBS 58) -- The Washington County Sheriff's Office received a report of a fire at Voss Trenching, located at 3036 Willow Creek Road, in the Village of Richfield around 10:55 a.m. on Thursday. 

Upon arrival, deputies noticed heavy smoke coming out of the structure with workers removing equipment from the pole barn.

The structure fire was quickly upgraded to the working still level. 

There were no injuries reported.

The pole barn suffered significant interior damage and the loss is estimated in excess of $30,000.

Authorities believe the fire started in an area containing hay bales and is not considered to be suspicious in nature.
