Fire at Mercury Marine in Fond du Lac

Firefighters battled an overnight fire at the Mercury Marine plant in Fond du Lac.
Investigators tell us the fire started in a dust collector. The sprinkler system was on when crews got to the scene around 11:30 PM. That helped keep the fire in check until crews were able to get inside the plant and put out the flames.
No injuries reported.
