MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- The Fire and Police Commission thought they confirmed Alfonso Morales as Milwaukee's new police chief almost two weeks ago, but it turns out they'll have to do it all over again.
The City Attorney's Office says the Commission violated open meetings law by not giving enough notice of the confirmation vote.
The do-over is set for Thursday and Alderman Terry Witkowski is mad about it, saying the Commission is rushing the process.
