Find a wild animal in trouble?

With humans and wild animals living in such close quarters, it's not unlikely to cross paths with a critter who is injured, orphaned, or somewhere he shouldn't be. There you'll find advice on everything from keeping critters out of your garbage cans, keeping coyotes at a distance, or how to know if a baby animal has truly been orphaned (often times they aren't actually orphaned and mom isn't far away).

If you ever find a wild animal in distress, use these expert tips first, then call the Wildlife Rehabilitation Center at Wisconsin Humane Society at 414-431-6204 if further action is needed.
