Find a wild animal in trouble?

With humans and wild animals living in such close quarters, it's not unlikely to cross paths with a critter who is injured, orphaned, or somewhere he shouldn't be. For those situations and many more, the Wisconsin Humane Society's Wildlife Rehabilitation Center recommends that you bookmark their Wildlife Tips page.
There you'll find advice on everything from keeping critters out of your garbage cans, keeping coyotes at a distance, or how to know if a baby animal has truly been orphaned (often times they aren't actually orphaned and mom isn't far away).
If you ever find a wild animal in distress, use these expert tips first, then call the Wildlife Rehabilitation Center at Wisconsin Humane Society at 414-431-6204 if further action is needed.
