MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) – Milwaukee Public Schools and the FBI are teaming up hoping to build relationships between students and law enforcement.
The FBI and Trowbridge Street School are partnering for the program. FBI representatives will visit the school and talk to students about careers in law enforcement and encourage students to get good grades in school.
“We want to make certain that we have an impact on our students’ academic achievement... and we believe that through partnerships like this one, we can even have a greater impact on our students' lives,” said Kellie Sigh with MPS.
This is the fourth year for the program. At the end of the program, students will get to tour Milwaukee’s FBI building.
