Fatal motorcycle crash near Van Buren and Pleasant in Milwaukee

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- A motorcyclist died following a crash on Milwaukee's Lower East side early Thursday morning, Sept. 23. 

According to police, the victim, a 26-year-old man suffered fatal injuries after crashing his motorcycle into a parked car near N. Van Buren St. and E. Pleasant St. around 3 a.m. 

The Milwaukee Fire Department responded, but the victim died due to his injuries on scene. 

At this time, Milwaukee police say excessive speeds appear to be the main factor in the accident.
