MPD: Fatal crash leads to 1 dead near Center and Vel R. Phillips

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Milwaukee police are investigating a fatal crash that happened Monday, Nov. 27 around 8:30 p.m. near Center and Vel R. Phillips Ave.
A 31-year-old pedestrian was in the roadway as a vehicle was traveling westbound, reportedly hitting the pedestrian, who was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the vehicle remained on scene and is cooperating with the investigation.
