Marquette hires Cara Consuegra as women’s basketball coach
It's been a picture perfect day across southeast Wisconsin with comfortable temperatures and humidity and plenty of sunshine! A northeast breeze has held temps in the mid 70s lakeside with inland spots near 80°.
The pleasant weather will continue into the evening, with zero concerns if you're heading to the Deer District to watch the Bucks!
Sunday will be fairly similar to today with abundant sunshine and a light breeze off the lake. Temps will be a couple of degrees warmer, rising either side of 80° lakeside and low 80s inland.
Temperatures will continue to warm as we start the work week, rising into the mid to upper 80s as high pressure remains in control. However, a backdoor cold front will race down the lake Tuesday afternoon, which will drop temps back into the 70s.
With high pressure in control expect abundant sunshine Sunday and Monday, although it may be filtered by Canadian wildfire smoke at times. There is a very small chance Tuesday afternoon's cold front generates an isolated shower or storm, but most folks should remain dry.
That front will linger around the Great Lakes for the second half of the work week, which could touch off a few isolated showers or storms. Download the CBS 58 Ready Weather App to see the full 7 day forecast.
