MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Fans finally got their chance to enjoy a taste of Brewers baseball at home Monday night, Aug. 3.
We spotted a number of fans getting ready for the game at Kelly's Bleachers in Milwaukee.
People say they wanted to mark the yearly tradition in whatever way they could.
"I've been to 50 straight opening days 'til this year," said Brewers fan Jay Saeger. "Today would have been my 51st straight opener. So we decided to come down here and have a couple of celebratory beers."
Jay went to Miller Park Monday night. While he couldn't go inside, he says he wanted to make his 51st opener "official."
